Haykakan Zhamanak: Electricity prices may rise
In the first decade of May the Electric Networks of Armenia will request the Public Services Regulatory Commission to raise the prices of electricity, Haykakan Zhamanak reports.
It will be proposed to increase the tariffs of electricity supplied to the population by 6 drams. Thus, the tariffs of one kilowatt per hour electricity will be 48 drams in day hours and 38 drams in night hours.
Meantime, the newspaper says that it will be announced that Russia reduced the prices for natural gas supplied to Armenia from 189 to 167 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
