Turkey makes ridiculous statements, goes on making mistakes – analyst
Turkey perceived at a lower level the fact of Armenian Genocide centenary Mass in the Vatican and the statements by Pope Francis; Ankara went on making mistakes, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told reporters on Wednesday.
Speaking about Turkey’s decision to mark the centenary of the Battle of Gallipoli on April 24, the expert said, “All these gallipolis have the opposite effect: they draw even greater attention to the Armenian Genocide issue.”
Iskandaryan also said that the Turks are so much nervous about everything concerning Armenian Genocide Centennial that they make ridiculous statements.
“It is even more laughable to see the Azerbaijanis being nervous,” he added.
