Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenian and Russian servicemen to conduct parades in Yerevan and Gyumri
Armenian and Russian soldiers will jointly conduct Victory Day parades in Yerevan and Gyumri on May 9. Haykakan Zhamanak’s correspondent asked Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan why the Ministry did not release information about the upcoming events while the press service of Russia’s Southern Military District has already announced about the parade.
“I don’t know whether or not the plan of these events is confirmed. I believe the Southern Military District introduced a preliminary plan. I am not aware of the scope of our participation in these events,” the spokesman said.
He noted that just like in the previous years, a joint parade will be held in Victory Park in Yerevan.
