Hraparak: Tens of thousands of Armenians to take part in events and protest in Los Angeles on April 24
“The centennial of the Armenian Genocide will be observed all over the US during the whole month. The events will be held in Boston, Washington, Los Angeles and New York. Tens of thousands of Armenians will take part in events and protest in Los Angeles on April 24. A protest will be held in front of the Turkish Consulate in New York. A commemorative evening is to be held in the UN on the same day.
"The biggest event in New York will take place on April 26. The Armenians of New York and New Jersey will go in for mass in St. Vardan church, Manhattan in the morning and in the afternoon they will gather in the heart of New York, Times Square, which will be closed entirely for the event. Serzh Sargsyan will participate in the events in Washington due on May 7-9,” Hraparak writes.
