Israeli troops fatally shoot Palestinian teenager
Israeli border police deadly shot a 16-year-old Palestinian teenager armed with two knives after he ignored several warnings at a checkpoint, a police spokeswoman said Saturday, as cited by local newspaper, according to Sputnik.
The incident took place at a-Zayyim checkpoint at the outskirts of east Jerusalem early Saturday, when the minor tried to attack soldiers on duty, Luba Samri said as quoted by the Jerusalem Post newspaper.
The law enforcement fired warning shots before killing the teenager, according to the police.
