Armenian FM: Turkey does not understand international community’s language
Recently, Turkey has been criticizing everyone: the Pope, the European Parliament, France, Russia, Germany, Austria and many other countries, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian told reporters, commenting on Turkey’s reaction to the statements by various countries and international organizations on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
“It would be easier for Turkey to make one statement criticizing the entire civilized world and the international community because they speak a language which Ankara does not understand,” Nalbandian said.
Nalbandian added that Turkey needs to think about the international community’s reaction. “If the entire world speaks a language which Ankara does not understand, then the problem may be in Ankara.”
