Armenian side was well prepared for Turkish and Azerbaijani cyber attacks - expert
The Armenian side was well prepared to resist Turkish and Azerbaijani cyber attacks during the Armenian Genocide centenary commemorations, information security expert Samvel Martirosyan told reporters on Monday.
In his words, about 250 websites were hacked, but not all of them were Armenian and they were not significant ones.
There was a DDoS attack on the Armenian Genocide centenary official website, the expert said.
“Our news websites were well protected and the Turkish hackers failed to hamper our information flows,” he stressed.
