Armenian President reelected chairman of YSU Board of Trustees
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited Yerevan State University (YSU) on Wednesday, the presidential press service reports.
The President attended the ceremony of unveiling the Alley of Gratitude dedicated to the Armenian Genocide centenary.
The busts of the following 12 American and European figures who carried out pro-Armenian activities in the years of the Armenian Genocide and after it are placed in the alley: Fridtjof Nansen, Franz Werfel, Johannes Lepsius, Karen Yeppe, Henry Morgenthau, James Bryce, Armin Wegner, Anatole France, Jacob Kyuntsler, Raphael Lemkin, Pierre Kiar and Alma Johansson.
Further, the President toured the Center of Excellence of Applied Biology of YSU.
Serzh Sargsyan also participated in the meeting of the YSU Board of Trustees. He was unanimously reelected chairman of the Board of Trustees. Mikael Malkhasyan was elected secretary of the Board of Trustees.
