Armenia, U.S. to sign Trade and Investment Framework Agreement
The governments of Armenia and the United States will sign a Trade and Investment Framework Agreement to enhance investment initiatives and expand trade and economic cooperation.
The draft agreement was approved at the cabinet meeting on Thursday.
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan noted that the negotiations on the agreement lasted long.
The agreement implies creation of an Armenian-American council on trade and investment. The aim of the council is to expand trade and investment opportunities of the two sides.
