ARFD MP denies news about negotiations with RPA
ARF Dashnaktsutyun is not negotiating with Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) on forming a coalition, Artsvik Minasyan, member of ARFD parliamentary faction, told Panorama.am, denying media reports about negotiations of the two parties.
“Forming a coalition is out of the question. Every time I have to refute this information. There is nothing of the kind. We have said this for a thousand times,” said the parliamentarian.
“Rumors have been persisting recently about the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and ARF Dashnaktsutyun forming a coalition. The two parties do not deny such a possibility. RPA is willing to give ARFD the positions of ministers of agriculture, education and science, labor and social affairs. However, ARFD wants to get other posts, including the positions of minister of energy and natural resources, economy, and transport and communication,” Zhoghovurd daily wrote on Friday.
