Yevseev: Nagorno-Karabakh elections were democratic and free
The May 3 parliamentary elections in Artsakh were democratic and free, Vladimir Yevseev, Head of Caucasus Department of the CIS Institute, told reporters on Thursday.
“As an expert, I am worried that the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh has aggravated further and it is noticeable that the conflicting parties have changed their tactics. Turkey’s position on the Karabakh-Azerbaijan conflict also causes concern,” Yevseev noted.
The expert stressed that Azerbaijan does everything possible to influence the OSCE Minsk Group format and seeks to involve Germany in this format.
