Armenia is not fully using its tourism potential - sociologist
Armenia has a huge tourism potential, but only a very small part of that potential is being used, sociologist Aharon Adibekyan told reporters on Tuesday, commenting on the tourism problems.
The expert noted that Armenia needs to create new attractions to be appealing to tourists. Not only the churches, but also comfortable hotels, good restaurants and affordable prices can attract tourists to our country, he said.
In addition, Adibekyan noted, the government must grant privileges to the air companies for them to reduce air ticket prices as most of the tourists are pensioners.
