Minister hopes Nairit workers will get their entire salaries by year end
Nairit plant is one of the most important enterprises in Armenia, Minister of Energy Yervand Zakharyan said on Wednesday.
According to him, the salary arrears to the plant workers, accumulated during the past four years, total 5.7 billion drams and they try to mitigate the situation and pay the salaries to the plant’s employees at the expense of other resources every two or three months.
Zakharyan expressed hope that the salary arrears will be paid by the end of this year.
He noted that the results of the monitoring by the World Bank experts on the possibilities of relaunching the plant will be received in one or two days.
“Nairit is one of the most important enterprises in Armenia and every step will be presented to the public. There will be no closed discussion regarding the plant,” said the Minister.
