Little Seryozha’s mother tried to protect him with her body - new details on Gyumri murder
The fact that the murder of 7 members of Avetisyan family in Gyumri was committed by the Russian soldier Valery Permyakov is being confirmed. The results of the complex examination, which the representatives of the victim’s successors, lawyers Mihran Poghosyan, Lusine Sahakyan and Yerem Sargsyan, presented to the attention of the journalists, show this, Iravaban.net reports.
Mihran Poghosyan noted that the conclusion of the trace ballistic examination and chemical complex was very large, and consisted of 144 pages and 313 photos taken. According to him, one of the interesting facts in this examination is that shots were fired in a horizontal direction. In reply to Iravaban.net’s question on “what conclusions may be drawn out from the fact?” the lawyer said that possibly the criminal did not have enough time to shoot and did not approach each victim separately.
Lusine Sahakyan noted that Avetisyans’ home is a rather small house and it takes a few steps to go from one end to the other. Apparently, the crime was performed rapidly, and so fast that the victims simply did not have the opportunity to defend themselves. However, the results of the medical forensic examination show that the father of the family had fought against the criminal.
Lusine Sahakyan said that according to the conclusion of the experts, the criminal first entered the living room, where Aida, the daughter, was sleeping. The photos show that she did not wake up, though one end of the blanket was raised a little.
The parents, Seryozha and Hasmik Avetisyan, were sleeping in the second room. Hasmik Avetisyan was awaken and even tried to stand up, according to the position of the body. Her husband was found in the bed and at first glance it may be supposed that he was not awakened.
However, according to the expert’s conclusion, DNA found on the rifle belongs to Seryozha Avetisyan, he also had injuries caused with a blunt instrument, which is the evidence that he had fought against the criminal before his death.
Armen and Araksya were sleeping in the third room. Araksya was found in the bed, with little Seryozah in her hands. Armen’s body was on the floor. Lusine Sahakyan noted that according to the position of Araksya’s body, she had tried to protect the infant with her body.
Lawyer Yerem Sargsyan said that according to the results of forensic medical expertise, the DNA found on the unused bullet in the rifle, the cigarette stubs found near the gas stove were identical with Permyakov’s DNA. And there were no samples of DNA of other people. Thus the fact confirms that the crime was committed by Permyakov.
