EEU considers free trade agreement with Iran
The Eurasian Economic Commission Board has discussed the possibility of signing a free trade deal with Iran, member of Eurasian Economic Commission Board Andrey Slepnev told reporters in Yerevan.
The Iranian side’s initiative was approved by all member states of the EEU at the expert level, Slepnev said.
He noted that the Eurasian Economic Commission will hold discussions with the Armenian businessmen to clarify the approaches for the talks with Iran given the fact that Armenia is the only member of the EEU that has a land border and trade experience with Iran.
