Summer will not be hot - meteorologist
The weather in Armenia will be under the influence of cyclone until May 15 and rainfalls are expected in this period. Temperatures will not change on May 14-15. They will be 20 degrees C, Gagik Surenyan, head of Meteorological Forecasts Department of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring State Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, told Panorama.am.
The meteorologist noted that a new cyclone will penetrate into the territory of Armenia on May 17-19 and rains are forecast in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik and Syunik regions and in Artsakh, in the evening hours. Rains are also possible in the other regions.
Temperatures will begin rising on May 16 and will be 26-27 degrees C in Yerevan on May 18-19. Rains will continue until the end of May.
The specialist also said that the summer will not be hot in Armenia.
