Minister presents country’s achievements in culture in past year
The opening of Komitas Museum-Institute at Komitas Park of Yerevan is one of our most important achievements in the current year, Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan told a news conference on Saturday, presenting the Ministry’s work in the past year.
“This year the world’s attention is focused on Armenia as Armenia commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Genocide. The Ministry of Culture played a key role in the organization of the Genocide commemoration events. The Ministry doubled the amount of its work this year,” Ms Poghosyan said.
Also, Hasmik Poghosyan outlined the Ministry’s priorities for the current year: digitalization of the Armenian films and the notes which are kept at Yerevan’s National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet.
