Eduard Sharmazanov to attend conference on genocides of Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians
Armenian National Assembly Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov on Sunday left for Athens on an official visit at the invitation of Hellenic Parliament Speaker Zoi Konstantopoulou, the press service of Armenian parliament reports.
During his visit, he will attend the commemorations of the Pontic Greeks Genocide.
Mr Sharmazanov will meet with Zoi Konstantopoulou on Monday. On the same day, he will attend an international conference on the genocides of the Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians and will deliver a speech.
On May 19, the Pontic Greeks Genocide Commemoration Day, Sharmazanov will pay tribute to the victims of the genocide in Syntagma Square. He will make a speech during the ceremony.
