President Sahakyan discusses Artsakh-Diaspora ties during Paris visit
Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday visited Yerevan Park in Paris and laid a wreath at the monument of Komitas.
The President also visited the residence of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Paris and met with its primate, Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan and members of the diocesan council.
The meeting addressed a range of issues related to Artsakh-Diaspora ties, Artsakh’s domestic and foreign policy. President Sahakyan highlighted the role of the church in maintaining the Armenian national identity in the Diaspora and cementing ties with the Motherland, the President’s press office reports.
