Armenian parliament adopts amendments to Law on Referendum
The National Assembly of Armenia on Wednesday adopted the draft law on making amendments and additions to the Law on Referendum. The vote was 100-1 and 10 abstentions. The bill was authored by ARFD MP Artsvik Minasyan.
Prior to the vote, head of Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan noted that they will vote for this bill as it will “considerably improve this institution.” She added that Prosperous Armenia will present its proposals in the near future.
Orinats Yerkir and Armenian National Congress abstained during the vote.
