Zhoghovurd: Robert Kocharyan to resume political activities
Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan is going to resume the active work of his political office, Zhoghovurd writes.
Vahe Hovhannisyan, member of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction, has been invited to work there, the newspaper says, adding that Hovhannisyan was not available for comment as he did not answer his phone calls.
“After Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s resignation, the party’s leading figures have become passive: former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian left the country and Stepan Margaryan and Vahe Hovhannisyan have taken a time out. In all likelihood, Kocharyan is preparing for new developments and has begun recruiting cadres,” the newspaper says.
