Corruption and non-professionalism have no place in prosecutor’s office – Kostanyan
Corruption and non-professionalism have no place in the prosecutor’s office as non-professional prosecutors are an evil for the system, Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan said.
Kostanyan today presented the 2014 report of Prosecutor General’s Office to the Armenian parliament.
“Non-professional and corrupt prosecutors are an evil for the system. There has never and can never be a case when a prosecutor can place himself beyond his powers and remain unpunished,” Kostanyan said.
“A prosecutor must be literate, diligent and honest. My task is to exclude ‘technical’ employees from the system,” he said.
