Hraparak: Karen Chshmaritian sends poems to Kim Kardashian
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who visited Armenia in April, was so much impressed by Armenia that before her departure, she asked to send her poems by Armenian authors in English translation, Hraparak reports.
Citing sources in the government, the newspaper says that Armenian Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian, who was present at the meeting with Kardashian that was hosted by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, has recently sent her Selected Pieces of Armenian Poetry translated by Samvel Mkrtchyan. The book includes pieces by Narekatsi, Kuchak and Mashtots as well as by contemporary writers such as Armen Shekoyan and Hakob Movses.
Also, the government has sent Kim a new two-volume collection of works by Armenian poets of all times translated by Samvel Mkrtchyan, the newspaper adds.
