Kazakh President suggests establishing unified Eurasian economic space
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has suggested establishing unified Eurasian economic space while speaking at the 8th Astana Economic Forum today, the Akorda's Twitter account says, Kazinform reports.
"I suggest establishing the unified Eurasian economic space. It is crucial to adopt uniform regulations that will take into account national interests of all participating countries. The regulations should address the sphere of trade, transportation and movement of resources in the first place. It is necessary to create a platform within the framework of the unified Eurasian economic space where we can discuss and develop proposals on the development of the Eurasian continent and integration between its members. The Astana Economic Forum can serve as this platform," Nazarbayev noted.
