Armenian Genocide centenary exhibitions held in Bucharest
Exhibitions of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, titled ‘Armenian Wedding in the Ottoman Empire’ and ‘Education in the Western Armenia,’ were held at the National Village Museum of Bucharest on May 22-24 within the framework of Armenian Genocide centenary commemorations, the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
The documentaries From Ararat to Europe and Armenia, the Land of Noah were screened on May 23. An Armenian fair was held in the museum’s yard.
An exhibition presenting the history, culture and everyday life of the Armenians who found shelter in Romania had opened at the National Village Museum of Bucharest on April 24.
