Armenia is committed to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which will create an equal dialogue and an atmosphere of mutual confidence, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told reporters at the National Assembly.

“We perform this within the framework of the respective military expertise. Everything that contributes to the implementation of these tasks is acceptable to us,” he said. 

The Armenian side ensures the security of Armenia and Artsakh in an appropriate manner, the Minister stressed.

If we are incited and there is aggression against Artsakh, as the guarantors of the Artsakh people’s peace, we will do everything possible to keep the integrity of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, where the people live peacefully, and if necessary, we can move the military operations to other areas, he said.
