Slavic Writing and Culture Day to be marked in Yerevan
The Slavic Writing and Culture Day will be celebrated in Armenian capital Yerevan by a march, a flashmob and a concert, Elina Kazarova, a spokeswoman for the “Moscow House” Cultural and Business Center, told RIA Novosti.
The march via central streets of Yerevan will start near “Moscow House” on May 25 at 3:00pm local time. It will be led by actors of K. Stanislavski State Russian Drama Theater in the images of Cyril and Methodius, founders of Slavic writing. A flashmob and a concert will also be held to mark the day.
The Slavic Writing and Culture Day is held annually on May 24 throughout Russia as well as in other countries.
