NY Times: Azerbaijan SOCAR employee’s daughter enters into same-sex marriage with legislative counsel to Massachusetts Senator
A report about the marriage of the daughter of the employee of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Elnara Eynullayeva, and the legislative counsel to Senator Michael J. Barrett from Massachusetts, Rosalie Hughes Fazio, is posted in the Weddings section of The New York Times. Commonwealth of Massachusetts gave the permission for the marriage. The couple will take the surname Fazio-Eynullayeva.
According to the report, Ms. Eynullayeva, 28, works as a health care economist for Trinity Partners in Waltham, Mass. She graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts and received a master’s degree in economics from the University of Connecticut. She is a daughter of Kamal Eynula, a mechanical inspector in Baku for SOCAR. Her mother, Tunzala Eynula of Springfield is the founder of Dilaura Naturals, which manufactures skin-care products. Ms. Eynullayeva’s previous marriage ended in divorce.
Ms. Fazio, 32, graduated from Wellesley College and received her law degree from Columbia. Her father, Joseph Fazio, is vice president for finance and administration at the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council in Cambridge. Her mother, Debra H. Fazio, is an acquisitions associate for the libraries at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, according to the report.
SOCAR told Azerbaijani news outlet Oxu.az that no Kamal Eynula or Kamal Eynulaev works in SOCAR enterprises.
