12th meeting of International Association of Genocide Scholars to be held in Yerevan
Four more exhibitions will open at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) during the current year, AGMI director Hayk Demoyan told reporters on Tuesday.
An exhibition titled “Armenian Sport and Physical Education in the Ottoman Empire” will open at AGMI on August 1 on the occasion of the Pan-Armenian Games and a book with the same name will be published, according to Demoyan.
In Demoyan’s words, Yerevan will turn into a center of genocide scholars in early June: the 12th meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars will take place in Yerevan on July 8-12.
The event is expected to be attended by 250-300 genocide scholars. “It will be the most representative conference in the past years,” Demoyan noted.
