Best way to fight counterfeit drugs is to regulate drug circulation – Deputy Minister
In recent years, the Armenian Ministry of Health has taken numerous measures to fight circulation of counterfeit drugs, Armenian Deputy Minister of Health Sergey Khachatryan said during a Yerevan-hosted symposium on fight against counterfeit drugs in the Eurasian region.
The Law on Drugs is under discussion in the National Assembly, he said.
“The law contains numerous provisions to regulate the drug circulation. The best way to fight counterfeit drugs is to regulate the drug circulation, which will be possible under the new law. Up to 50 regulating documents are expected to be adopted,” Khachatryan said.
About 150 experts from different countries are attending the two-day symposium.
