Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenian candidates for ECHR judge get a positive conclusion
The advisory expert group of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe has given a positive conclusion to the Armenian candidates for ECHR judge, Haykakan Zhamanak reports.
The committee responsible for selection of candidates will hold a meeting on June 9-10. Via interviews, the committee will select one of the three Armenian candidates.
At the PACE plenary session on June 22-26 the delegates will select the Armenian judge in ECHR.
Ex-Ombudsman of Armenia Armen Harutyunyan, international law expert Ara Ghazaryan and judge Liana Hakobyan were declared winners in the Armenian contest.
