Hraparak: Personnel reforms expected in government
A new phase of personnel reforms is expected in the Armenian cabinet soon, Hraparak reports.
Government’s authoritative officials think that the Ministry of Economy must undergo structural changes and must be joined with the financial bloc as a separate branch, while the others claim that the ministry must be kept as it is. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan also thinks so. He sees Vardan Ayvazyan as new Minister of Economy, the presidential officials, however, are opposed to it.
The replacement of the Central Bank chairman is also under discussion. Hrant Bagratyan and Gurgen Arsenyan may be candidates for this position.
