With message of May 28, let us renew our oath of loyalty to Homeland – Karekin II
Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II issued a congratulatory address on the occasion of the First Armenian Republic Day.
Karekin II conveyed his blessings and congratulations to the Armenian nation.
“On the difficult days which followed the Mets Yeghern our brave nation led a life-and-death struggle in a part of our homeland and, with dear sacrifices, crowned the heroic May battles with the establishment of the Republic of Armenia. The restoration of the native statehood brought to life the centuries-old dream of our ancestors, filled our nation with hope and gave a new spirit to national life.
With the message of May 28, let us today renew our oath of loyalty to the Homeland, with our honest deeds and love and care towards each other, overcome all difficulties and make our independent Republic prosperous with the blessing of Lord,” said the message.
