Russia’s humanitarian aid convoy arrives in Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk
A new humanitarian aid convoy from Russia has arrived in the eastern Ukrainian cities of Donetsk and Luhansk, a source from the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situation’s National Crisis Management Centre has told Tass.
The 28th humanitarian convoy arriving from Russia’s Ukraine-bordering Rostov region has brought in the troubled region food, including macaroni products, vegetable oil, cereals as well as construction materials for restoration work and medicines, the source said.
All in all, more than 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid has been delivered.
From August 2014, Russian humanitarian convoys have delivered in Donbas more than 35,000 tons of aid.
