Armenia’s leadership visits Sardarapat memorial complex
A delegation of Armenia’s top officials and church dignitaries, led by President Serzh Sargsyan and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, on Thursday visited Sardarapat memorial complex on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the First Armenian Republic as well as the Sardarapat Battle Victory Day.
They laid a wreath at the Monument to the Heroes of Sardarapat Battle and paid tribute to those who fell in the heroic battles.
A military parade is taking place at the memorial complex, Panorama.am’s correspondent reports.
