BarCamp Yerevan 2015 attracts unprecedented number of participants – expert
The 7th annual BarCamp kicked off at the American University of Armenia on Saturday. The informal gathering has brought together IT specialists, engineers, programmers, bloggers, social network activists, and electronic media journalists.
Speaking to Panorama.am, IT security expert Samvel Martirosyan said that this year the event attracted an unprecedented number of participants. In his words, 2,500 people have already registered for participation. There are guests from the United States, Russia and Georgia.
“There will be master classes and the young specialists will be given the opportunity to present their projects.
“BarCamp is a unique platform for the stimulation of creative ideas. The principle of equality works here: both full-fledged specialists and beginners can hold discussions in a free and easy atmosphere,” Mr Martirosyan noted.
