One killed, another injured in gas station explosion in Charentsavan
An explosion occurred at a gas station in the town of Charentsavan, Kotayk province of Armenia, on Saturday, according to the Emergency Channel Information Center of Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.
The emergency call was received at 11:54pm. Rescue squads were dispatched to the scene.
The gas station employee was killed in the explosion. Another person was injured. He was transported to Charentsavan hospital. He was discharged from hospital after receiving medical assistance.
Earlier, on May 26, an explosion occurred at a gas station owned by ex-MP Hakob Hakobyan. His son and brother as well as the gas station employee sustained injuries.
