Alexander Chaushian & Friends to perform Armenian Genocide centenary concert in London
Alexander Chaushian & Friends will perform at London’s Wigmore Hall on July 12. The concert, In Memoriam 1915, is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra’s representative told Panorama.am that the concert will feature Levon Chilingirian (violin), Sergey Khachatryan (violin), Kim Kashkashian (viola), Alexander Chaushian (cello), Steven Isserlis (cello), Sergei Babayan (piano), Lusine Khachatryan (piano), Vahan Mardirossian (piano), Yevgeny Sudbin (piano). The concert program includes pieces by Komitas, Alexander Arutiunian, Arno Babadjanian and Robert Schumann.
