Ashotyan: Development of digital technologies makes quality education more accessible to youth
The forum of the francophone ministers of higher education has kicked off in Paris. Delegations from 44 countries are attending the event, the press service of Armenian Ministry of Education and Science reports.
It is the first time education ministers have gathered to discuss the prospects for the development of digital education.
Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan in his remarks highlighted the importance of the activities of the International Organization of La Francophonie. The Minister said that the development of digital technologies is creating new opportunities for modern and quality higher education and makes it more accessible to the youth.
During the visit, the Armenian delegation will meet with French Minister of Education, Higher Education and Research Najat Vallaud-Belkacem and UNESCO Secretary General Irina Bokova.
