Armenian President congratulates Nikolay Hovhannisyan
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan addressed a congratulatory message to historian, Orientalist, National Academy of Sciences of Armenia associate member Nikolay Hovhannisyan on the occasion of his 85th birthday.
“You have made a great contribution to the development of Armenian historiography, particularly Middle East History and Armenian Genocide Studies.
You have rendered considerable services to establishing and raising the international standing of the Armenian school of Arab Studies and educating and training new generations of Orientalists.
I wish you good health, endless vigor and new scientific and pedagogical achievements,” the message said.
