Tigran Hamasyan, Yerevan State Chamber Choir to perform at Zvartnots Cathedral
The first concert of "Luys i Luso" pilgrimage tour from Zvartnots to Istanbul, featuring the Yerevan State Chamber Choir and pianist Tigran Hamasyan, will take place today at the 7th century Zvartnots Cathedral.
“I am truly excited and inspired to be there tomorrow and to share the music of Mesrop Mashtots, Narekatsi, Komitas...etc with you while facing the history with the ever white peak of mount Ararat in the back,” Hamasyan wrote on Facebook.
“Beginning of the performance is at 8pm and it's free entrance. Praying for good weather.”
