European Games: Amoyan loses to Maryanyan in Greco-Roman wrestling round 2
Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestler Roman Amoyan was defeated by Russia’s Stepan Maryanyan 0-8 in round 2 of Greco-Roman wrestling competition at the European Games in Baku.
Amoyan had beaten Portugal’s Joao Carvalho in round 1.
Next, Maryanyan will face Azerbaijan’s Elman Mukhtarov. If Stepan beats his rival, Amoyan will get an opportunity to fight for the bronze medal.
