PM offers Armenia’s assistance to flood-hit Georgia
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan had a telephone conversation with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili over the flooding in Tbilisi that caused numerous casualties and destruction, the Armenian government’s press service reports.
Mr Abrahamyan expressed condolences to Irakli Garibashvili and offered the assistance of the Armenian side.
The Georgian Premier thanked Hovik Abrahamyan for condolences and willingness of assistance.
The Prime Minister of Armenia instructed Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan to keep on working with his Georgian counterpart in order to provide the necessary assistance to the Georgian side.
