Armenian flag burned in ‘tolerant’ Azerbaijan during European Games
Representatives of the so-called Karabakh Liberation Organization of Azerbaijan burned the Armenian flag during their visits to the Alleys of Martyrs in Azerbaijani regions of Shabran and Jalilabad, according to Minval.az.
The same website earlier reported that on May 8, 2015, on Day of Liberation of Shushi by the self-defense forces of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, participants in an event at the Alley of Martyrs in Baku burned the Armenian flag. Haqqin.az reported for its part that the Armenian flag was burned by members of the so-called Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO).
KLO leader Akif Nagi recently once again made threats against the Armenian national team competing in the European Games in Baku. “We will not allow Armenia’s representatives to come to Baku, otherwise we will take any measures to stop them and even to drive them out of Baku,” Nagi declared.
