Baku most expensive city of CIS, Yerevan and Tbilisi among cheapest
Azerbaijan’s capital Baku is among the world’s most expensive cities in 2015 – it is in 46th position compared with 33rd last year, according to a Mercer ranking. Baku has become the most expensive city of CIS.
In Armenia, the cost of living has declined. Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, is in 192nd position in 2015 (compared to 187th in 2014). Tbilisi, Georgia, was ranked 198th this year (194th in 2014).
Luanda, Angola, ranks as the most expensive city in the world, followed by Hong Kong and Zurich. Bishkek is the cheapest city this year.
