Hraparak: Plane with Armenian prosecutor general and his deputies makes emergency landing in Tbilisi
‘Hraparak’ paper reports that several planes on June 18 could not land at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport because of a thunderstorm and high winds.
“An employee of Zvartnots said that a plane from Paris was to land at Zvartnots Airport at 7:55 pm on June 18, but due to bad weather it was diverted to Tbilisi and arrived in Armenia 8 hours later, on June 19. Among the passengers were members of the Armenian delegation who participated in the European Court of Human Rights’ (ECHR) hearing of the cases ‘Sargsyan v. Azerbaijan’ and ‘Chiragov v Armenia’ – namely Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan, Deputy Prosecutor Emil Babayan, and Deputy Justice Minister Arman Tatoyan,” the paper says.
