Circumstances of Tashir woman murder revealed
The Lori regional department of Armenia’s Investigative Committee completed the investigation into the murder of a female resident of the city of Tashir, according to the press service of Investigative Committee.
The body of 62-year-olfd woman was found in January 2014 in her apartment in Tashir.
Investigators found that on the murder day –January 27, A.Khanaghyan, a resident of Lori province, came to her apartment to borrow money. When the woman refused to give him money and also made insulting remarks about his relatives, Khanaghyan hit her in the head with a metal object, killing her. Then he stole a cell phone from the sitting room, and left the apartment, taking the crime weapon with him.
The crime was solved in February 2015, and the man was charged under Articles 104 and 177 of the Criminal Code. He pleaded guilty.
On June 18 the case was filed to the prosecutor.
