Ara Ghazaryan congratulated Armen Harutyunyan on being elected as Armenian judge to ECtHR
Ara Ghazaryan, a lawyer and one of candidates on behalf of Armenia for elections of judges for the European Court of Human Rights, congratulated Armen Harutyunyan on being elected as the Armenian judge to ECtHR on June 23.
Ara Ghazaryan wrote in his post on Facebook: “I congratulate Armen Harutyunyan on becoming a judge. I am happy for him and wish him days of fruitful work”.
Panorama.am wrote earlier, that Armen Harutyunyan was elected as a new judge on behalf of the Republic of Armenia in ECtHR at the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Harutyunyan won the absolute majority of votes of MPs voted. According to PACE website, 34 out of 191 ballots were declared invalid, 119 out of 157 voted for Armen Harutyunyan, 15 for Ara Ghazaryan and 23 for Liana Hakobyan.
