Yerevan hosts Armenian-Georgian legal forum
An Armenian-Georgian legal forum started in Yerevan. In his speech of welcome, Armenian Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan said it is the first ever forum held in this format. He stressed its importance from several points of view.
“The subjects discussed at the forum are topical and important, particularly in the context of reforms being implemented by our countries. Besides, such events promote bilateral ties,” the minister said.
Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani stated for her part: “At present our states cooperate in all the fields. It is gratifying that cooperation in the justice sphere has reached a high level”.
The Georgian minister said she will do everything possible so the forum will take place on a regular basis: “I want representatives of justice ministries from other countries to take part. Thanks to joint efforts we will succeed in creating the legal system of the South Caucasus”.
