New traffic police chief of Armenia appointed
By a decree of Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan, Colonel Armen Hakobyan has been appointed Chief of the Traffic Police of Armenia. He served as head of the Internal Security Department until now and that position is now vacant in connection with his appointment, Panorama.am learned from the police press service.
Earlier, on June 28 Chief of Armenian Traffic Police Major General Artak Harutyunyan was relieved of his post and transferred to the reserve by a decree of the Armenian police chief.
